Nanotechnology, also nanotech, is the use of matter on atomic, molecular, and supramolecular scales for industrial purposes. The earliest, widespread description of nanotechnology is a particular technological goal of precisely manipulating atoms and molecules for fabrication of macroscale products, also now a molecular nanotechnology.

Nanotechnology as defined by size is naturally broad, including fields of science as diverse as surface science, organic chemistry, molecular biology, semiconductor physics, energy storage engineering micro fabrication, and molecular engineering.

The properties of nanotechnology that makes it attractive are also known to be very harmful and hazardous to human health.
Although there are nano robots in use but the nano particles are harmful to the body system. However the human body has immunity to certain chemicals but studies shows that the nano particles are toxic and hazardous to the human body.
2. It can damage the lungs:
One of the most prominent side effects of nanotechnology is the effects it could have on the lungs. Moreover, the long thin nanotubes once inhaled can have a negative effect on the human lungs. Studies also shows that the nanotubes does not only affect the lungs but it can also affect the skin as well. This makes it one of the most common negative effects of nanotechnology.
3. It causes environmental pollution:
Nanotechnology has certain materials and particles that are harmful to the environment. These particles when released into the air can leave the atmosphere unhealthy and not safe for people and even animals. Although The negative effects of these particles might not be seen immediately. However it can be dangerous in the long run.
