The environment you live or grow in affects certain and prominent aspects of your life. For instance, growing up in a home where there is liberty to make decisions will ease decision-making process for students. However this has other benefits as it helps to  build  self-confidence and independence. This  which can be the same thing with the environment you grow in and how it can affect your studies. This article explains ‘How the environment affects Students education’.

Who is a student?

A student is a person who goes to school to learn something. Although Students can be children, teenagers, or adults who are going to school.  However it may also be other people who are learning, such as in college or university. Moreover A younger student is often called a pupil. Usually, students will learn from a teacher or a lecturer if at university. They also do much reading. A student can also be a person studying for a specific profession or course.

A Student needs a stable environment to grow. However if the environment is a poor one, it can affect the students intellectual, social, and emotional development. In a layman terms, if a student does not grow up in a stable environment. It can affect the brain, interaction among friends and family, and the ability to express their thoughts and emotions.How  Environment Affects Students Education? For a child to grow properly, he/she needs a stable environment and the following factors can affect children’s education;

01. Intellectual:

Every Student needs a stable environment to grow his intellect which means his brain and ability to retain what was being taught in class. If the students intellectual development is not properly trained then it will affect the students education. However a students intellects can be linked to that of their parents but at the same time the environment whether healthy or unhealthy can contribute to a child/student’s intellectual abilities. Although a students that lives in a very healthy and conducive environment tends to be morally and intellectually sound.

02. Emotional:

A Student needs a stable environment to process emotions.Moreover the ability to cry and express himself when needed is important. This which if not grown in a stable environment could affect him/her. Although If proper expressions are not present, it can affect the students education.

03. Social:

The first place a student can learn how to socialize is at home. Since it their first place of socialization. Moreover, a student needs a stable environment to interact with his friends and family. This means the students will find it easy to make new friends and network with people. Although if the student lives in a toxic environment this would affect his health and education.

Conclusion

For a Student to be academically sound, the environment he/she stays in needs to be monitored and paid proper attention to. Any slight behavior change should be reported to his parents or teachers and they should have a honest conversation with  them to help the students.
