Impact of Blooms Taxonomy in education;

Bloom’s taxonomy is a set of hierarchical models for classification of educational learning objectives.

The lists cover the learning objectives in cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. However, the cognitive domain list has been the primary focus of most traditional education.

In addition, it is useful for structuring curriculum learning objectives and assessments.

The models were named after Benjamin Bloom, who chaired the committee of educators that devised the taxonomy.

He also was in charge of editing the first volume of the standard text, Taxonomy of Educational Objectives.

Bloom’s taxonomy continues to be a source of inspiration for educational philosophy.

3. It gives room for the easy acquisition of knowledge and skills: Blooms taxonomy is for learning as well as teaching and assessing. Students or learners can learn more easily. Because the learning objectives are structured in an outline. The learners are able to easily learn either independently or with an instructor.
